Gen Chamblee is one of the most amazing moms I have ever known. I watch her changing lives everyday. She lost her beautiful little girl Sierra on Nov. 23, 2010 to stage IV Neuroblastoma cancer. 2 months after Sierra passed away she started The Sierra Rayn Foundation. The foundation was created in honor of Sierra to help fund Neuroblastoma research, create support groups for families, and help erradicate this and other aggressive childhood cancers. Sierra fought for 11 months and Gen updated her daily battle on FB. Sierra reached people across the world, everyday, and still does. Gen inspires the lives of many through her words, and her constant fight for childhood cancer is amazing. She also runs a successful home business and has a 5 yr old son. Gen should win this because of her sincere compassion, amazing strength, and determination to make a difference in everyone's lives and for childhood cancer.
