After trying to get pregnant for three years, Rebekka lost her baby Hayden due to stillbirth at 32-weeks gestation in 2010. Rebekka and her husband Randy didn't have their daughter to bring home, yet the medical bills kept coming. This was a tremendous loss, and Rebekka never wanted a family to have the financial burdens that they had, after losing a baby due to stillbirth. Just six months after losing Hayden, Rebekka started, "Haydens Helping Hands," which is a foundation that assists families with medical bills in the State of Oregon, whom have lost a baby due to stillbirth after 20-weeks gestation. She is an inspiration to many of us, and should be recognized for her selfless efforts to help others. We are the only foundation in Oregon that supports this cause, and they money would help assist five families. Thank you for your consideration, Rebekka is well deserved of this honor. Holly Yeck

  • Rebekka is an inspiration to everyone. With a broken heart she expended her energy into Haydens Helping Hands that will help other families shed the grief of medical expenses. She has the courage to move forward and still keeping the love for Hayden through her foundation. Reaching out to other families in need. She is not only giving to the parents of a stillborn, but the love and kindness to each brother, sister, and grandparents.

Rebekka is nothing less than AMAZING!

  • This is a unique foundation and should most definitely be recognized. It’s the small grass-roots non-profits that have the hardest time raising money, Haydens Helping Hands is well deserved. Thank you Rebecca for what you do!

  • I’ve always admired and been amazed by people who can create positive things out of a tragedy. Rebekka (and her husband Randy) are two of those people. I am so glad to have the opportunity to nominate Rebekka.

  • Thank you for this. Being MamMoo to three beautiful grandchildren is such a blessing, but having never had the opportunity to know three others, who rest in the arms of Jesus, is so sad. Fortunately for my children, expenses were covered but I never thought about those who didn’t have that. I pray God’s continued blessings on your mission.
