The section of Carolyn's blog entitled 'About Me' reads "I’m just a typical mom, with a not so typical life. My eldest son Z was diagnosed with Aspergers and ADHD in 2010. My baby, J, almost died at birth from a lung condition, got a brain bleed, developed hydrocephalus and now has a VP shunt. Myself, I have been through postpartum depression twice and am a proud survivor. Life isn’t always easy, but it’s always interesting." She has been through the gamut of painful experiences and come out on the other side intact and wanting to help others through their struggles with Autism and Postpartum Depression. She is truly an inspiration!
