In addition to being a mother and the head of Entertainment Legal for Fox Broadcasting Company, Minna is the co-founder of Learn Grow Lead, a nonprofit that helps organizations all over the world become self-sustaining. Learn Grow Lead is currently working with Children Helpers Foundation in Ghana to fund two sustainable projects and send over 80 orphaned and trafficked children to school. Proving that having a high-powered career is not at all at odds with being compassionate to those outside your sphere, Minna is an inspiration to working women everywhere.

"I am going to use the $5,000 prize to pay for the education of 80 abandoned, trafficked, and impoverished children in Ghana who live in Cape Coast, Ghana, and are helped by the Children Helpers Foundation. In Ghana, the elementary schools are free but each child still needs money for uniforms, books, and supplies. These cost approximately $40 (U.S.) per year. If a child is to get a high school diploma, the tuition is approximately $360 per year plus an entrance fee of $350. Started by Steven Dankwah, who was once orphaned himself, the Foundation helps kids who have nothing get an education. Three of us — myself, Anika Jackson, and Joy Burkhard — entered this contest to win money for these kids." — Minna Taylor
